Lucky Chicken With Oranges Recipe

Step #1 Sprinkle top chicken with salt pepper, cinnamon & cloves.
Step #2 In a wide frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat; add chicken & cook this until well browned on all sides.
Step #3 Remove chicken to a plate & discard all but 2 tbsps of drippings.
Step #4 Add garlic & onion to pan & cook this until onion is limp.
Step #5 Return chicken & add orange juice, dried apricots, wine, capers, & vinegar.
Step #6 Top each piece of chicken with a 1 tbsp of brown sugar.
Step #7 Cover up & cook over low heat/flame until chicken is no longer pink near bone (about 45 mins).
Step #8 Stir in almonds just before serving & garnish with orange slices & sliced cilantro.
