Super Easy Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz) box pillsbury put in the fridged pie crusts, softened as directed on box .
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour .
  • 1 (18 5/8 oz) can rich & hearty Progresso chicken pot pie soup .
  • 2 c green giant frozen mixed vegetables, thawed, drained (from 1-lb bag)

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 425°F.
  • Step #2 Make pie crusts as directed on box for two-crust [ie using 9-inch glass pie pan.
  • Step #3 In medium saucepan, heat soup, thawed vegetables & flour until warm.
  • Step #4 Spoon into crust-lined pan.
  • Step #5 Top with second crust; seal edge & flute.
  • Step #6 Cut slits in several places in top crust.
  • Step #7 Bake 30 to 35 mins or until crust is golden brown.
  • Step #8 After 15 mins of baking, cover edge of crust with strips of foil wrap to prevent excessive browning.
  • Step #9 Let stand 5 mins before serving.
  • Step #10 Cut into wedges.
