Chicken And Sausage With Sage Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1-2 yellow onion, peeled & cut into 8 pieces .
  • 4 lbs chickens, cut into 10 pieces .
  • 1/2 c olive oil (not extra virgin) .
  • 2 tbsps sliced sage leaves .
  • 1 tbsp dried sage .
  • 12 banger sausages (can sub Italian sausage) .
  • 1 lemon .
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce .
  • ground pepper .
  • 2 tsps English mustard

Directions
  • Step #1 The night before, add the chicken & onions to a storage bag.
  • Step #2 Juice the lemon into the bag, cut it into 8 pieces, & toss all the pieces into the bag.
  • Step #3 Add the olive oil, pepper, mustard, dried sage, & Worcestershire.
  • Step #4 Squish it around to mix, & seal it up.
  • Step #5 Refrigerate overnight or up to 2 days total.
  • Step #6 Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • Step #7 Combine the chicken & marinade with the sausages in a roasting pan, & when it has come to about room temp, place it in the oven.
  • Step #8 Cook about 75 mins, turning the sausages halfway through.
