Low-fat Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 tbsps parmesan cheese, grated .
  • 16 oz fettuccine .
  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated skim milk .
  • 1 dash fresh ground black pepper .
  • 1 dash crushed red pepper flakes .
  • 2 tsps olive oil .
  • 2 tbsps fresh parsley, snipped .
  • 1/2 c nonfat sour cream .
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
  • Step #2 Return to pot & toss with oil.
  • Step #3 Add sour cram, Parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, milk, pepper & garlic to pasta.
  • Step #4 Cook over low heat/flame until thick & bubbling, stirring constantly.
  • Step #5 Serve hot.
