V's White Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb sour cream .
  • 1 1/2 c finely ground chocolate graham crackers .
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract .
  • 1/3 c unsalted butter, melted .
  • 3/4 lb white chocolate chips, melted .
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract .
  • 1 1/3 c sugar .
  • 1 1/2 lbs cream cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to temperature 350°F.
  • Step #2 Combine crumbs & 1/3 c sugar Stir in butter & mix thoroughly.
  • Step #3 Press mixture.
  • Step #4 around bottom & sides in bottom of a 9 inch.
  • Step #5 springform pan.
  • Step #6 Set aside.
  • Step #7 Place cream cheese.
  • Step #8 In a large-ish mixing bowl & beat with an electric mixer 3-5 mins.
  • Step #9 until fluffy.
  • Step #10 Add vanilla & almond extracts.
  • Step #11 Slowly add in the remaining.
  • Step #12 sugar & beat 5 mins.
  • Step #13 Add melted white chocolate & beat 5.
  • Step #14 mins.
  • Step #15 Add sour cream & beat 3 mins.
  • Step #16 Pour into prepared.
  • Step #17 springform pan.
  • Step #18 Tap pan on counter to release any air bubbles.
  • Step #19 If.
  • Step #20 using an electric oven, bake 35 mins; if using a gas oven, 30.
  • Step #21 mins.
  • Step #22 Without opening oven door, turn off oven.
  • Step #23 Let cheesecake.
  • Step #24 stand in oven another 15 mins if using electric, 10 mins if.
  • Step #25 using gas.
  • Step #26 Transfer to wire rack to cool.
  • Step #27 When cooled, chill in.
  • Step #28 refrigerator at least 6 hrs or overnight for best results.
