Linda's Shepherd's Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (14 3/4 oz) can whole kernel corn .
  • garlic powder .
  • 2 (14 3/4 oz) cans cream-style corn .
  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef .
  • 1 large onion, cut in half & sliced .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 3 tbsps butter .
  • 6 large potatoes, peeled, boiled, & mashed with milk & butter

Directions
  • Step #1 In a lg.
  • Step #2 frying pan cook the onion until almost done.
  • Step #3 Add beef & stir, cooking until meat is cooked through.
  • Step #4 Add a sprinkling of salt, pepper, & garlic powder over the top of the mixture.
  • Step #5 Spoon mixture into a 9x13" baking pan.
  • Step #6 Top with the 1 can of whole kernel corn, spreading across the meat mixture, then add the 2 cans of cream style corn.
  • Step #7 Cook & mash the potatoes until smooth.
  • Step #8 Add the mashed potatoes over the top of the casserole.
  • Step #9 Dot with pats of butter all over the top.
  • Step #10 Put in a 350F oven, & bake for 30 mins or until top is lightly brown.
