Meatloaves With Mushroom Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 oz dry vegetable soup mix .
  • 1/2 c seasoned dry bread crumbs .
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef .
  • 1/3 c onions, sliced .
  • Mushroom Sauce .
  • 2 tbsps butter .
  • 8 oz about 3 c fresh white mushrooms, sliced .
  • 2 tbsps cornstarch .
  • 1 (14 oz) can beef broth .
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten .
  • 1/2 c milk .
  • 1/4 c milk .
  • 8 oz fresh white mushrooms, coarsley sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Meatloaves:.
  • Step #2 Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, vegetable soup mix,mushrooms, mix beef, bread crumbs, milk & egg until well mixd.
  • Step #4 Form into two loaves, 7 x 5-inches each.
  • Step #5 Place loaves in a shallow baking pan with rack.
  • Step #6 Bake for 45 mins.
  • Step #7 Mushroom Sauce:.
  • Step #8 In a small bowl, mix milk & cornstarch; set aside.
  • Step #9 In a large skillet, melt butter over high heat.
  • Step #10 Add mushrooms & onion.
  • Step #11 Cook & stir over moderate heat until mushrooms are golden, about 10 mins.
  • Step #12 Stir in beef broth & 1/2 c water; bring to a boil.
  • Step #13 Stir cornstarch mixture into mushroom mixture in skillet.
  • Step #14 Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened, about 1 min.
