Cinnamon Breadsticks Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsps canola oil
  • 1 (16 oz) package hot roll mix
  • Refrigerated butter-flavored spray
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 1 c warm water (120 to 130 degrees F)
  • 1/2 c sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In a bowl, mix roll mix & contents of yeast package.
  • Step #2 Add the water, oil & egg white; beat until smooth.
  • Step #3 Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface; knead until smooth & elastic, about 5 mins.
  • Step #4 Cover & let rest for 10 mins.
  • Step #5 Roll into a 16-in.
  • Step #6 x 12-in.
  • Step #7 rectangle.
  • Step #8 Cut widthwise into sixteen 1-in.
  • Step #9 strips.
  • Step #10 Cut strips in half widthwise, forming 32 strips.
  • Step #11 Twist each strip 5-6 times; place on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step #12 Combine sugar & cinnamon.
  • Step #13 Spray dough sticks generously with put in the fridged butter-flavored spray; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
  • Step #14 Cover & let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 25 mins.
  • Step #15 Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #16 Serve warm.
