Ingredients
1 lb large lump crabmeat (I use canned.) .
1 c mushrooms, sliced .
1/2 c sherry wine .
1/4 c flour .
2 tbsps pimiento .
1 small white onion .
1 c cheddar cheese, grated .
1 dash salt .
1 dash white pepper .
1/2 lb butter .
2 c half-and-half .
1 bell pepper
Directions
Step #1 In a large skillet, saute pepper & onion in butter; add mushrooms & flour.
Step #2 Heat half-and-half separately & add slowly to keep consistency smooth.
Step #3 Stir in pimiento, salt & white pepper to taste.
Step #4 Pick through the crab & remove any shells or foreign objects.
Step #5 Add the crab meat & sherry to sauce & heat through.
Step #6 Scoop into individual ramekins or custard c.
Step #7 Top with grated cheese & put under oven broiler for a few mins to brown.
