Cinnamon Crescents Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c cold butter
  • 4 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine flour & baking powder in a large bowl; cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Step #2 Stir in milk & egg.
  • Step #3 Divide into three portions; shape each portion into a ball.
  • Step #4 Combine sugar & cinnamon; sprinkle a third over a pastry board or a surface.
  • Step #5 Roll one ball into a 12-in.
  • Step #6 circle; cut into 12 wedges.
  • Step #7 Roll up from wide edge.
  • Step #8 Repeat with the remaining dough & cinnamon-sugar.
  • Step #9 Place rolls with point side down on a lightly greased baking sheets; form into crescent shapes.
  • Step #10 Bake at 350 degrees F for 16-18 mins or until lightly browned (do not overbake).
