Napa Cabbage Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c butter .
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce .
  • 2 (3 oz) packages ramen noodles (raw) .
  • 3/4 c oil .
  • 1/2 c sugar .
  • 1 head napa cabbage .
  • 2 tbsps sesame seeds .
  • 1 bunch green onions (scallions, 8-9) .
  • 1 c sliced almonds .
  • 1/4 c apple cider vinegar

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut off end of cabbage & core.
  • Step #2 Slice leaves lengthwise into thin strips-then chop.
  • Step #3 Place In a large-ish Ziploc bag & put in the fridge until ready to assemble.
  • Step #4 Slice the onions into thin strips.
  • Step #5 Place in separate Ziploc bag & put in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • Step #6 Saute the following ingredients until brown, then cool & place this into a 3rd Ziploc bag & put in the fridge.
  • Step #7 ½ stick butter, 2 pkgs.
  • Step #8 (raw) Ramen noodles (noodles only)2 T.
  • Step #9 sesame seeds & 1 c sliced almonds.
  • Step #10 For the dressing.
  • Step #11 Combine the following ingredients & place this in a jar, put in the fridge until ready to use.
  • Step #12 ½ c sugar, 3/4 c oil, 1/4 c apple cider vinegar & 1 T.
  • Step #13 soy sauce.
  • Step #14 Assemble just before serving.
  • Step #15 Mix the 3 bags of ingredients & the dressing In a large-ish bowl, toss well, & then serve.
  • Step #16 After cooling this mixture, break it up again, it tends to clump when put in the fridged.
