Step #1 Place all ingredients into your bread machine according to manufacturers instructions (or mix by hand).
Step #2 Allow the ingredients to mix well.
Step #3 Turn your machine off after the first mixing cycle is complete.
Step #4 Remove the dough & allow it to rest 10 mins on a lightly floured board.
Step #5 Knead lightly & shape into a round loaf.
Step #6 Place into a greased cake pan & sprinkle with oats.
Step #7 ~If your dough is not sticky enough to hold the oats, brush lightly with egg white & slash the top of your loaf before adding the oats.
Step #8 This will also help to give a 'crisp' crust to your bread.
Step #9 Cover up with a damp warm towel & set in a warm place to rise (about 1 hr).
Step #10 Place in a 375F preheated oven & bake about 40 mins or til bread tests done (removing it from the pan, tapping the bottom of your loaf lightly should produce a 'hallow' sound).
Step #11 Remove the loaf & allow this to cool slowly on a wire rack & cover with a tea towel.
