- 2 garlic cloves, minced .
- 1/4 c roasted peanuts, ground, for garnish .
- 3/4 tsp sugar .
- 1/2 c chicken broth or water .
- 2 tbsps peanut butter (or more) .
- 1/4 c hoisin sauce .
- 2 tbsps tomato paste .
- 1 tsp chili paste or sriracha sauce
Directions
- Step #1 Heat the oil & add the garlic, chili paste, & tomato paste.
- Step #2 Fry until garlic is golden brown.
- Step #3 Add the broth, peanut butter, sugar, & hoisin sauce, & whisk to dissolve the peanut butter.
- Step #4 Bring to a boil.
- Step #5 Reduce the heat & let simmer for 3 mins.
- Step #6 Garnish with the ground peanuts.
