Peppered New York Strip Steak Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 New York strip steaks, 1 inch thick .
  • 3 tbsps lime pepper .
  • kosher salt, to taste .
  • 1/4 c black peppercorns

Directions
  • Step #1 Place pepper corns in mortor & pestle, coursely crush until most of the corns are broken ( you can use a coffe grinder or food processer for this step ).
  • Step #2 Cover up one side of steaks with crushed pepper & press in firmly, sprinkle with Lime Pepper seasoning & salt.
  • Step #3 Turn steaks over & repeat the same process.
  • Step #4 Place in refrigerator for 3 hrs, uncovered.
  • Step #5 Heat grill, brush grate with vegetable or olive oil & place steaks over hottest part of fire for 3 mins, turn the steaks over for another 3 mins.
  • Step #6 Move the steaks to a cooler part of grill & continue to cook this until done to your liking.
  • Step #7 Serve with steak sauce & lots of beer.
  • Step #8 This is not as hot (spicy) as it sounds.
  • Step #9 The peppers season the steaks just right.
