Dark Chocolate Chiffon Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee powder .
  • 3 egg yolks .
  • 5 egg whites .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1/2 c oil .
  • 3/4 c water .
  • 18 1/4 oz plain devil's food cake mix .
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar

Directions
  • Step #1 beat egg whites & cream of tartar until stiff--2-3 mins.
  • Step #2 mix cake mix, oil, eg yoks, water, coffee, & vanilla on low for one mins.
  • Step #3 Then, beat on medium 2 mins more.
  • Step #4 Fold in egg whites.
  • Step #5 Bake in UNGREASED tube pan for 48-52 mins.
