Corn 'n' Beef Pasta Bake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 c frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 1/2 c uncooked bow tie pasta
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 c buttermilk
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can sliced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 c shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 medium green or red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 (3 oz) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 lb ground beef

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large skillet, cook the beef, onion, green pepper & garlic over med-heat/flame until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  • Step #2 Stir in the corn, tomatoes, pasta, buttermilk, chili powder, cream cheese, salt & pepper.
  • Step #3 Transfer to a greased 2-1/2-qt.
  • Step #4 baking dish; sprinkle with cheese.
  • Step #5 Cover & bake this at 375 degrees F for 40 mins.
  • Step #6 Uncover; bake 25-30 mins longer or until the pasta is tender.
