Cowboy Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 2 (15 oz) cans baked beans with pork
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (7.5 oz) package put in the fridged biscuit dough
  • 1/3 c barbeque sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook bacon in a large skillet or Dutch oven over med-heat/flame until evenly browned.
  • Step #2 Drain, & cut into bite size pieces.
  • Step #3 Set aside.
  • Step #4 Add hamburger & onion to the skillet, & cook this until no longer pink, & the onion is tender.
  • Step #5 Drain.
  • Step #6 Stir bacon, baked beans & barbeque sauce into the ground beef, & bring to a boil.
  • Step #7 Reduce heat to medium low, & place biscuits in a single layer over the top of the mixture.
  • Step #8 Cover, & let simmer for about 10 mins, or until the biscuits are done.
  • Step #9 Place two biscuits on each plate, & spoon beans over.
