Crab And Shrimp Louis Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsps sweet pickle relish
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 c hot chile sauce
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 lb crabmeat
  • 1 avocado - peeled, pitted & sliced
  • 8 oz cooked shrimp
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lemon - cut into wedges, for garnish
  • 2/3 c mayonnaise

Directions
  • Step #1 Place eggs in a saucepan & cover with cold water.
  • Step #2 Bring water to a boil; cover, remove this from heat, & let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 mins.
  • Step #3 Remove from hot water, cool, peel & chop.
  • Step #4 Evenly divide the lettuce, shrimp, cucumbers, crab, avocado, tomatoes & eggs between 4 salad plates.
  • Step #5 Prepare the dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, relish, chili sauce, salt & pepper.
  • Step #6 Spoon dressing over the salad & garnish with parsley & lemon.
