Cherry Cobbleri Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c white sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Place butter or margarine in a 9x13 inch baking dish & set on oven rack to melt.
  • Step #3 In a medium bowl, sugar, mix together flour, & baking powder.
  • Step #4 Stir in milk.
  • Step #5 Remove baking dish from oven as soon as butter or margarine is melted.
  • Step #6 Pour flour mixture into dish, but DO NOT STIR.
  • Step #7 Pour fruit evenly into pan, & DO NOT STIR.
  • Step #8 Raise oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #9 Bake cobbler for 50 to 60 mins, until golden brown.
