Fuller’s Herb Marinated Prawns Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes .
  • 1 bay leaf .
  • 1 lb large raw shrimp, shelled & cleaned .
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper .
  • 1 lemon, juice of .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 4 c water .
  • 1 c dry white wine .
  • 2 minced garlic cloves .
  • 1/2 lemon, juice of .
  • 2 tsps fuller's beaujolais herb seasoning mix .
  • 1/2 c virgin olive oil .
  • The Marinade

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine the first six ingredients in a 4-quart pot & bring to boil.
  • Step #2 Lower the heat; add the prawns & cook over medium high heat until opaque for about 3-4 mins.
  • Step #3 Drain & cool the prawns.
  • Step #4 In a large bowl mix the remaining ingredients for the marinade.
  • Step #5 Mix well & add the cooked Prawns.
  • Step #6 Coat the prawns with the mixture.
  • Step #7 Cover up the bowl & allow the prawns to marinate at least 3 hrs in the refrigerator.
  • Step #8 Serve as an appetizer with cherry tomatoes or serve on a bed of lettuce for lunch or a light dinner.
  • Step #9 Serves three as an entrée.
  • Step #10 The recipe may easily be doubled.
