Ingredients
  • 4 tbsps white sugar
  • 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 c butter, softened
  • 1/3 c sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 c sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 c ground pecans

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Lightly grease baking sheets.
  • Step #3 Cream butter & sugar together until light.
  • Step #4 Beat in the vanilla.
  • Step #5 Mix in the flour, pecans & cocoa powder.
  • Step #6 Form dough into 1 inch balls & place onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Step #7 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 to 25 mins.
  • Step #8 Cool then roll each cookie in confectioners' sugar.
  • Step #9 .
