Church Supper Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 medium green pepper, sliced
  • 1 c water
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can sliced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (4 oz) can mushroom stems & pieces, drained
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen corn, thawed
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 c shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 (12 oz) package spaghetti, cooked & drained
  • 2 tbsps chili powder

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large skillet, cook beef, onion & green pepper over med-heat/flame until meat is no longer pink.
  • Step #2 Add tomatoes, water & chili powder.
  • Step #3 Cover & let simmer for 30 mins.
  • Step #4 Add the corn, mushrooms, peas, salt & pepper.
  • Step #5 Stir in spaghetti.
  • Step #6 Layer half of the mixture in a greased 4-qt.
  • Step #7 baking dish.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top with 1 c cheese; repeat layers.
  • Step #9 Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 20 mins or until heated through.
