• finely shredded cheddar cheese .
• 1 (1 1/4 oz) package taco seasoning (I use low sodium) .
• tomatoes, sliced .
• 4 oz sliced green chilies .
• shredded lettuce .
• sliced scallions .
• 8 oz cream cheese .
• sliced black olives

• Step #1 Soften cream cheese & whip with sour cream with mixer until smooth.
• Step #2 mix in taco seasoning.
• Step #3 Spread onto shallow platter & chill in the fridge.
• Step #4 This step can be done ahead before the event.
• Step #5 When ready to serve, layer the remainder of the ingredients as they are listed above.
• Step #6 You can omit or add another favorite.
• Step #7 Serve with tortilla chips or corn chips.
