Ingredients
  • 1 c coconut cream .
  • 2 medium taro root .
  • toddy syrup (optional) .
  • banana leaves

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel the taro, clean & chop into portions.
  • Step #2 Grate the taro, wrap in softened banana leaves.
  • Step #3 Bake in an earth oven or steam for one hr.
  • Step #4 When cooked, cut into squares & mix with coconut cream.
  • Step #5 Toddy syrup, made from the sap of the coconut flower, can be added for a sweeter taste.
