Crunchy Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 1 c flaked coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c vegetable oil
  • 1 c butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c crisp rice cereal
  • 1/2 c sliced walnuts
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 c quick-cooking oats

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, cream butter & sugars.
  • Step #2 Beat in egg, oil & vanilla.
  • Step #3 Combine flour, salt, cream of tartar & baking soda; slowly add to the creamed mixture.
  • Step #4 Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Step #5 Drop by tbspfuls 2 in.
  • Step #6 apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Step #7 Press tops lightly with a fork.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 mins or until lightly browned.
  • Step #9 Remove to wire racks to cool.
  • Step #10 .
