Granola Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c peanuts .
  • 1 1/4 c rolled oats .
  • 1/2 c peanut butter .
  • 1/2 c sliced almonds .
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar .
  • 2 tbsps orange juice (fresh) .
  • 1/2 c sunflower seeds .
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon .
  • 2 tbsps raisins .
  • 2 tbsps milk .
  • 1 egg, beaten .
  • 1/2 c dried apricots, sliced .
  • 1/2 tsp orange rind (fresh)

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 Toast oats & sunflower seeds on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 5-7 mins until crispy.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, mix toasted oats & sunflower seeds with remaining ingredients except for sliced almonds.
  • Step #4 Press mixture into an 8-inch greased baking dish.
  • Step #5 Press almonds on top.
  • Step #6 Bake at 350 degrees 15 mins or until brown & done.
  • Step #7 Cool before cutting into bars.
