Step #1 Mix with a spoon (not an electric mixer) the cake mix, eggs, cherry pie filling, & almond extract until moistened.
Step #2 Spread into 9 x 13-in greased pan.
Step #3 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 mins.
Step #4 To Make Frosting: Bring sugar, butter, & milk to a boil.
Step #5 Boil for 1 min.
Step #6 Add chocolate chips; stir until chips are melted.
Step #7 Pour frosting over warm cake.
Step #8 Cool.
