Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c sugar
3/4 c packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp baking soda
1 c finely sliced walnuts
2 1/4 c all-purpose flour
2 c semisweet chocolate chips
1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix*
2 eggs

Directions

Step #1 In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugars & pudding mix.
Step #2 Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step #3 Beat in vanilla.
Step #4 Combine flour & baking soda; slowly add to the creamed mixture.
Step #5 Stir in chocolate chips & walnuts (dough will be stiff).
Step #6 Drop by rounded tspfuls 2 in.
Step #7 apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Step #8 Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 mins or until lightly browned.
Step #9 Remove to wire racks to cool.
