Step #1 Preheat oven to 400F degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step #2 In a small sauce melt together the butter & 1/2 c of the chocolate chips, stirring frequently.
Step #3 Remove from heat & set aside to cool.
Step #4 In a medium bowl, stir this together the melted chocolate mixture with the sugar, eggs & vanilla.
Step #5 Sift together the flour, baking powder & salt, stir in theto the chocolate mixture.
Step #6 Finally, stir in the the sliced nuts & remaining chocolate chips.
Step #7 Drop dough by rounded tspfuls onto unprepared cookie sheets.
Step #8 Press a miniature marshmallow into the center of each cookie.
Step #9 Bake for 7 to 8 mins in the preheated oven.
Step #10 Remove from baking sheets as soon as possible to cool on wire racks.
