• 1/2 c butter .
• 3 egg yolks .
• 1 c half-and-half .
• 1/2 c sliced walnuts .
• 1 tbsp cornstarch .
• 1 c flaked coconut .
• 1 c white sugar

• Step #1 In a medium saucepan, sugar, butter, mix the half & half, yolks & cornstarch.
• Step #2 Bring to a boil over med-heat/flame.
• Step #3 Remove from the heat & stir in the the coconut & walnuts.
• Step #4 Cool to about room temp before frosting cake.
