Coconut Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (16 oz) container chocolate frosting
  • 3/4 c water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • FILLING:
  • 3/4 c vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package chocolate cake mix
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 c flaked coconut

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, oil, beat the eggs, water & vanilla.
  • Step #2 Add the cake & pudding mixes; beat for 5 mins.
  • Step #3 Pour 3 c into a greased & floured 10-in.
  • Step #4 fluted tube pan.
  • Step #5 Combine the coconut, milk & extract; mix well.
  • Step #6 Drop by spoonfuls onto batter.
  • Step #7 Cover with remaining batter.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step #9 Cool for 10 mins before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Step #10 Frost with chocolate frosting.
