Starbucks Oat Fudge Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
  • 1 c butter or margarine .
  • 2 c packed brown sugar .
  • 2 large eggs .
  • 1 tsp baking soda .
  • 3 c quick-cooking rolled oats .
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk .
  • 2 tsps real vanilla .
  • 3 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Set aside 2 Tbs.
  • Step #3 of the butter.
  • Step #4 Beat the remaining butter with a mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.
  • Step #5 Add brown sugar; beat until well mixed.
  • Step #6 Beat in eggs & vanilla.
  • Step #7 In another large bowl stir this together flour & baking soda; stir in the oats.
  • Step #8 Gradually stir dry mixture into beaten mixture.
  • Step #9 Set aside.
  • Step #10 2.
  • Step #11 In a medium saucepan mix the 2 Tbs.
  • Step #12 , the sweetened condensed milk, & chocolate.
  • Step #13 Cook over low heat/flame until chocolate melts, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #14 Remove from heat.
  • Step #15 Stir in vanilla.
  • Step #16 3.
  • Step #17 Press two-thirds (about 3-1/3 c) of the oat mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 15×10x1-inch baking pan.
  • Step #18 Spread chocolate mixture over the oat mixture.
  • Step #19 Using your fingers, dot remaining oat mixture over the chocolate.
  • Step #20 4, Bake in a 350 degree F oven about 25 mins or until top is lightly browned (chocolate mixture will still look moist).
  • Step #21 Cool on a wire rack.
  • Step #22 Cut into 2×2 inch inch bars.
