Dixie Stampede Garlic-cheese Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 garlic clove, minced .
  • 2/3 c whole milk .
  • 2/3 c shredded cheddar cheese .
  • 2 c baking mix .
  • 5 tbsps butter, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Step #2 Combine the butter & garlic in a small bowl & set aside.
  • Step #3 Combine the baking mix with the milk in a medium bowl & mix just until a soft dough forms.
  • Step #4 Do NOT overmix.
  • Step #5 Add the cheese to the dough & stir this to mix.
  • Step #6 If the dough still seems just a tad dry/sticky, go ahead & add a drop or two more of milk or water.
  • Step #7 Using a tsp, drop the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Step #8 Bake until golden brown, about 10 mins.
  • Step #9 Remove the biscuits from the oven & lightly brush with the butter-garlic mixture.
  • Step #10 Serve warm.
