Honeycup-mustard Dip With Crudités Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • pepper (optional) .
  • 2 lbs assorted raw mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, carrots, & celery amd use some lightly cooked vegetables such as green beans) .
  • 2 c plain yogurt .
  • 1/3 c minced fresh dill .
  • 2/3 c Honeyc mustard

Directions
  • Step #1 Line a fine-mesh sieve with cheesecloth & place over a bowl.
  • Step #2 Spoon the yogurt into the sieve & let it drain at about room temp, stirring it once or twice, for 2 hrs.
  • Step #3 In a bowl, salt, dill, mix the drained yogurt, mustard, & pepper (if desired).
  • Step #4 Mix well, cover, & put in the fridge for at least 24 hrs.
  • Step #5 To lightly cook vegetables, bring a pot of water to a boil.
  • Step #6 Salt it lightly, cook this until tender-crisp, & add the cut-up vegetables, about 5 mins.
  • Step #7 Drain & as soon as possible immerse in a bowl of ice water for about 1 min.
  • Step #8 Drain again & pat dry.
