Citrus Fondue Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/8 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine, cubed
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 10 tsps all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp grated orange peel
  • Fresh fruit
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/4 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 In a heavy saucepan, mix the sugar & flour.
  • Step #2 Stir in water until smooth.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil over med-heat/flame; cook & stir for 2 mins or until thickened.
  • Step #4 Remove from the heat.
  • Step #5 Stir in the butter, lemon & orange juice & peel & ginger; cook this until the butter is melted.
  • Step #6 Transfer to a fondue pot & keep warm.
  • Step #7 Serve with fruit.
