Homemade Almond Paste Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c confectioners' sugar .
  • 1 egg white .
  • 1 1/2 tsps almond extract .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1 1/2 c blanched almonds

Directions
  • Step #1 Place almonds in a food processor/blender; cover & process until smooth.
  • Step #2 Add the confectioners' sugar, egg white, extract & salt; cover & process until smooth.
  • Step #3 Divide almond paste into 1/2 c portions; place this in airtight containers.
  • Step #4 Refrigerate for up to 1 month or freeze for up to 3 months.
