Ingredients
1 egg, beaten .
1 tsp sugar .
2 tbsps vegetable oil .
1 c whole wheat flour .
1/2 tsp salt .
2 c low-fat buttermilk .
1/4 c soya granules .
1 tsp baking soda .
1 1/2 c old-fashioned oatmeal
Directions
Step #1 Combine first six ingredients in a bowl.
Step #2 In another bowl mix the remaining ingredients.
Step #3 Pour the wet into the dry, & stir until well mixed.
Step #4 Cook in waffle iron of your choice.
Step #5 Works best in the deeper Belgian style irons.
Step #6 Makes approximately 10 3" x 3" waffles.
