Slow Cooker Cheesy Lasagna With Sausage And Beef Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps butter .
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can sliced tomatoes, Italian flavored .
  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning .
  • 3 c alfredo sauce .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 1/4 lb parmesan cheese, freshly grated .
  • 1/2 lb hot sausage, minced .
  • 1 (15 oz) can ricotta cheese .
  • 1 small sweet onion, sliced .
  • 3 c marinara sauce, any flavoring .
  • 1/2 lb monterey jack cheese, freshly grated .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1/2 lb ground beef .
  • 1/2 lb mozzarella cheese, divided 1/4 lb freshly grated & 1/4 lb sliced thick .
  • 1 lb lasagna noodles

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large skillet over med-heat/flame, melt butter.
  • Step #2 Add onion & sauté for 3 mins.
  • Step #3 Add garlic & cook for another 2 mins until onions are soften.
  • Step #4 Add minced sausage & ground beef.
  • Step #5 Cook until browned, approximately 7 mins.
  • Step #6 Drain oil.
  • Step #7 In a large bowl, add marinara sauce, alfredo sauce & canned tomatoes & mix completely.
  • Step #8 Add ground meat mixture to sauce.
  • Step #9 Add Italian Spice uping & salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step #10 In the slow cooker (aka crockpot) pan, pour a small amount of the sauce mixture along the bottom of the plan.
  • Step #11 Layer the uncooked lasagna noodles across the bottom of the pan.
  • Step #12 You can make the noodles to adjust them to the size of your pan.
  • Step #13 Spoon ricotta cheese across the lasagna noodles.
  • Step #14 Add a layer of grated cheeses.
  • Step #15 Add a layer of sauce mixture.
  • Step #16 Repeat the layering process; lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese, grated cheeses, sauce mixture.
  • Step #17 For the top layer, sauce mixture, proceed with this order: lasagna noodles, grated cheeses & sliced mozzarella cheese.
  • Step #18 Cook on LOW for 6 hrs or HIGH for 4 hrs until cheese on top is bubbly.
