Blood Orange Mimosa Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur .
  • 3 c fresh blood orange juice (from about 10 oranges) .
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle champagne, chilled well .
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Stir together juice, liqueur, & sugar in a 2-quart pitcher until sugar is dissolved.
  • Step #2 Chill until cold, about 1 hr.
  • Step #3 Slowly pour in Prosecco, stirring to mix.
  • Step #4 Serve as soon as possible.
  • Step #5 Note: Juice mixture, can be chilled, without Prosecco, covered, up to 1 day.
  • Step #6 Stir in Prosecco just before serving.
