Holiday Mint Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract .
  • 3 tbsps hot water .
  • red-hot candies .
  • 2 tbsps milk .
  • 8 oz cream cheese .
  • 9 inches graham cracker pie crusts .
  • 1 c grasshopper fudge mint cookies, crushed .
  • 6-10 drops green food coloring .
  • 3 1/2 c Cool Whip .
  • 1/3 c sugar .
  • spearmint, leaves

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix crushed grasshopper cookies & 3 tbsps hot water together.
  • Step #2 Spoon into prepared graham cracker pie crust & spread.
  • Step #3 Beat cream cheese, milk, sugar, & peppermint extract together.
  • Step #4 Add cool whip.
  • Step #5 Divide mix in half & add green food coloring to one half.
  • Step #6 Fill graham cracker pie crust with alternating dollops of white & green whip topping mix making sure to spread each dollop evenly across pie.
  • Step #7 Smooth top of whip topping mix.
  • Step #8 Chill pie for 3 hrs.
  • Step #9 Make berries & holly leaves using red hot cinnamon candies & mint leaves.
