Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c flour .
1/4 c butter .
1/2 c peanut butter .
1/2 tsp baking powder .
1/4 c vegetable shortening .
2 eggs, beaten or 1/2 c egg substitute .
3/4 tsp baking soda .
1/2 c brown sugar .
1/2 c sugar .
1/4 tsp salt

Directions

Step #1 Cream shortening & butters with sugars; mix in egg thoroughly.
Step #2 Blend flour, baking powder & salt & stir in theto creamed mixture.
Step #3 Chill 1-2 hrs.
Step #4 Roll into balls the size of walnuts; crisscross with fork dipped in sugar.
Step #5 Bake at 350F until brown (7-9 mins for soft cookies or 10-12 mins for crisp).
