Step #1 Preheat oven to 325°.
Step #2 Grease an 8 or 9-inch square baking pan.
Step #3 In a medium bowl, beat together butter, sugar, eggs & vanilla until light & fluffy.
Step #4 Beat in melted chocolate.
Step #5 Add flour, beating until well mixed.
Step #6 Stir in walnuts.
Step #7 Spread evenly in greased baking pan Bake 25-30 mins.
Step #8 Do not overbake.
Step #9 Cool in mins & then frost.
Step #10 Frosting: Place 1 c chocolate chips in mixer.
Step #11 In a small saucepan, heat 1/2 c of whipping cream until hot.
Step #12 Quickly pour cream into mixer.
Step #13 Add 1 tsp vanilla extract; mix until chocolate melts & mixture is smooth & glossy.
Step #14 Refrigerate until set before cutting into squares.
