Crescent Pinwheels Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 tbsps fresh basil, sliced .
  • 1/2 lb prosciutto (or cooked ham, thinly sliced) .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 (8 oz) can Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls .
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or vegetable oil0) .
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Step #2 Spray cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step #3 Separate dough into 4 rectangles; place on lightly floured surface.
  • Step #4 Firmly press perforations to seal.
  • Step #5 Press or roll each to form 8x5-inch rectangle.
  • Step #6 Arrange 1/4 of prosciutto slices evenly over each rectangle.
  • Step #7 In small bowl, mix cheese, pepper & oil; mix well.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top mixture evenly over prosciutto on each rectangle.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with basil.
  • Step #10 Starting at short side of each rectangle, roll up; seal long edges.
  • Step #11 With serrated knife, cut each roll this into 5 slices.
  • Step #12 Place, cut side up, on sprayed cookie sheets.
  • Step #13 Bake at 375 degrees F.
  • Step #14 for 15 to 20 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #15 Remove from cookie sheets.
  • Step #16 Serve warm.
