1 1/2 c red potatoes, cubed into 3/4-inch pieces .
2 tbsps dry onion soup mix .
2 stalks celery, sliced cross-wise .
1/4 c milk .
4 cube steaks .
1 tbsp water
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step #2 Line a 10 x 13-inch cake pan with aluminum foil wrap, leaving enough extra foil wrap on the long & short sides of the pan to easily seal into a foil wrap packet later.
Step #3 Place cube steaks in aluminum foil wrap in one layer.
Step #4 Combine condensed soup, milk & dry soup mix thoroughly & spread mixture over the meat.
Step #5 Arrange cubed (3/4-inch) potatoes (with or without skin), sliced celery (1/2-inch pieces) & baby carrots evenly over soup layer.
Step #6 Sprinkle top 1 tbs.
Step #7 water over all vegetables.
Step #8 Seal the foil wrap tightly, making sure that steam will not escape the packet.
Step #9 Bake for 1 hr & 15 mins.
Step #10 Remove pan from the oven & allow to sit for 5 mins before opening foil wrap packet.
Step #11 Serve as soon as possible.
Step #12 Notes: Instead of cubed steak, I've also used flank steak.
