Gemelli Pasta With Clams, Scallops And Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp olive oil .
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper .
  • 2 tbsps tarragon, sliced or 1 1/2 tsps dried tarragon .
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (to taste) .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 lb scallops .
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1/4 c flat leaf parsley, sliced .
  • 5 tbsps fresh parmesan cheese, grated .
  • 1/2 c dry white wine .
  • 1 c yellow bell peppers, sliced .
  • 1/2 c canned clams, undrained (sliced) .
  • 5 c hot cooked gemelli pasta (about 6 oz uncooked short tube-shaped pasta) .
  • 1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled & deveined .
  • 1 c onions, sliced .
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can sliced tomatoes, undrained

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add onion & bell pepper, cook for 5 mins, stirring frequently.
  • Step #3 Add garlic & cook for an extra 1 min, stirring frequently.
  • Step #4 Stir in wine, crushed red pepper & sliced tomatoes, bring to a boil.
  • Step #5 Cover up & reduce heat.
  • Step #6 Simmer for 10 mins.
  • Step #7 Add clams & next 6 ingredients (through scallops.
  • Step #8 Cook for 3 mins or until shrimp are done.
  • Step #9 Serve seafood mixture over pasta & sprinkle with cheese.
