Step #1 Pour cake mix into a large bowl.
Step #2 Whisk dry mix to remove lumps or sift it into the bowl.
Step #3 Add pecans to the dry cake mix & stir well.
Step #4 In a liquid measuring c, add the egg.
Step #5 Add enough oil to the egg to bring the mixture to 1/2 c.
Step #6 Add enough water to bring the mixture to 2/3 c.
Step #7 Beat mixture together with a fork.
Step #8 Add egg mixture to cake mix in large bowl.
Step #9 Mix well.
Step #10 Using a tsp or small ice cream scoop, gather balls of dough, rolling them into perfect circles.
Step #11 Place 12 on a cookie sheet & bake 8-12 mins at 350 degrees F.
Step #12 If they get golden brown, they are too done.
Step #13 Pulling them out around 10 mins should be perfect.
Step #14 Let the cookies cool 5 mins before transfering them to a plate or container.
