Chocolate Roll-out Sugar Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c margarine .
  • 1/3 c cocoa .
  • 3/4 c sugar .
  • 1/8 tsp salt .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder .
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla .
  • 1 tbsp milk .
  • 1 1/2 c flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Cream margarine & sugar together with electric mixer.
  • Step #2 Add egg & beat with electric mixer.
  • Step #3 Add vanilla & milk & beat with electric mixer until light & fluffy.
  • Step #4 In a separate bowl, baking powder, stir this together flour, cocoa, salt.
  • Step #5 Stir with a spoon, the flour mixture into the creamed mixture.
  • Step #6 Place dough into lock seal bag.
  • Step #7 put in the fridge 2-3 hrs or overnight.
  • Step #8 Preheat oven to 325F degrees F.
  • Step #9 Lightly flour dough board.
  • Step #10 Using a floured rolling pin, roll out half of dough to 1/8 inch thickness.
  • Step #11 Cut into desired shapes with floured cookie cutters.
  • Step #12 Place cookies onto ungreased cookie sheets & sprinkle lightly with granulated sugar.
  • Step #13 Bake 6-8 mins, or until touched lightly in the center of cookie with finger the imprint does not show.
