Sarah's Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c milk .
  • 2 tsps vanilla .
  • 1 1/4 tsps baking soda .
  • 2 tsps vanilla .
  • 2 c sugar .
  • 1 1/2 c oil .
  • 1 lemon, juice of .
  • 1 c nuts .
  • 2 eggs, beaten .
  • 3 c flour .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 c butter .
  • 3 c apples, sliced .
  • 1 c brown sugar .
  • Frosting

Directions
  • Step #1 Cream the sugar, lemon juice, oil, vanilla & eggs together.
  • Step #2 Add the dry ingredients.
  • Step #3 Fold in the apples & nuts.
  • Step #4 Bake in a greased & floured 9x13 inch pan for 1 1/2 hrs at 325F degrees.
  • Step #5 To make frosting: Pour all ingredients into a saucepan & bring to a boil.
  • Step #6 Boil for an extra 2-3 mins.
  • Step #7 Pour the frosting over the hot cake.
