Plum Granita Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, to taste .
  • 1 (825 g) can whole plums in heavy syrup .
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions
  • Step #1 Remove seeds from plum & place the plums with syrup in a mixer or food processor/blender puree the plums.
  • Step #2 Stir in the lemon juice & the vanilla puree the mixture,.
  • Step #3 Transfer the mixture to a freezer proof dish.
  • Step #4 Chill for eight hrs or overnight.
  • Step #5 When your ready to serve scrape the granita with a fork to lighten the texture & serve it in chilled bowls.
