Cranberry Pecan Sandies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c powdered sugar .
  • 1 (15 5/8 oz) package cranberry quick bread mix .
  • 1/2 c butter, melted .
  • 3-4 tsps orange juice .
  • 30-36 pecan halves .
  • Cookies .
  • Glaze .
  • 1 egg .
  • 2 tbsps orange juice .
  • 3/4 c sliced pecans

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step #2 Combine bread mix, butter, egg & orange juice.
  • Step #3 Stir in sliced pecans.
  • Step #4 Roll into 1 inch balls.
  • Step #5 Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Step #6 Flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass, coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step #7 Press a pecan half into each cookie.
  • Step #8 Bake for 12-14 mins or until lightly browned.
  • Step #9 Cool one min, then remove to wire racks.
  • Step #10 Whisk glaze ingredients in a small bowl; drizzle over cookies.
